I get a lot of e-mails asking me about my equipment, so I figured I would make the information available to anybody who wanted to know. I will do my best to keep this list current!
CAMERAS:
Canon 5D with battery grip

Canon 40D with battery grip

Coming Soon Canon 5D Mark II

LENSES:
I mostly consider myself a prime girl. I have made some slight exceptions, for example my 70-200L 2.8 IS, but overall, I can’t do without my primes!
Canon 70-200L 2.8 IS – My everything lens. On a full sensor camera, this lens is a DREAM. A great portrait lens! I adore the creaminess of the bokeh, and it never fails me on focus!

Canon 85mm 1.8 – I actually sold my first 85, then I got my 5D and totally regretting getting rid of it, so I got another one. Just like with the 70-200, the creaminess and clarity of the images it produces with the 5D are amazing!

Canon 50mm 1.4 – Great Standard Length. On a full sensor like the 5D it is great for tight spaces, on a crop sensor like the 40D it makes a great length for portrait work!

Canon 24mm 1.4 L -This lens has superb clarity, and I love the bokeh it gives me(for such a wide angle that can be hard to come by). I can shoot with this baby at 1.4 all day and never have a focus problem or any other issues. I have heard nothing but praise about this lens though. I love my L glass! The landscape work with this lens is phenominal!

Lensbaby Muse
I use this lens more for art than portrait work, but I adore it. I currently use either the plasic or single glass optic. So much fun!

MY BAGS:
I went through a lot of bags before I ended up with these. I LOVE my Jill.E bags. So far they have been able to handle everything I’ve thrown at them, dropped them in, dragged them through…..you get the point. Mostly weather proof, and they wipe down easy!
Jill.E Medium Bag – Bone

Jill.E Small Bag – Soft Yellow

OTHER STUFF:
Canon 580EX II Flash
Canon 430 ExII Flash
Two sets of the Pocket Wizards Mini and Flex Combo
Numerous Umbrellas and Soft boxes for light modification
Lots of CF Cards – My favorites are Sandisk Extreme IIIs – so far they have never failed me
Lots of extra lens caps – I loose at least one per shoot…yes I know that is horrible.
Reflectors – two different sizes, one 32 inch round, and a 52 inch round, with numerous surfaces.
Portable Backdrop Stand – great for small spaces and indoors.
Baby Wipes – These see a lot of use, especially for shoots with little ones!
Juice Boxes – Also great for shoots with little ones. Nothing like a little juice break!
Basic Lens Cleaning Kit – Never know when it will come in handy!
