{ Paige – Class of 2011 } Sequim WA Senior Photographer

Paige is another fabulous senior from Woodinville Highschool.  We met up in the Seattle area last night for her photoshoot, at Carkeek Park.  She is just stunning, and I have total envy over her long legs and amazing hair.  She is such a sweetheart, and I had so much fun with her, and her Mom, and bestie Michelle.

I loved these trees that we found….so unique…a very cool piece of art.  We just had to use them!

This water shot is a fav of mine! I love how the light captured the water curving up from her feet!

I <3 this one as well…LOVE the lush greenery.

They are too cute together!

Michael O'Connor - September 1, 2010 - 6:38 pm

Peggy talked you up, but wow!
These are really great pic’s of Paige. Very creative photos, and you really captured her….You just know by the shots that it was really fun…That’s when it REALLY WORKS…..
Thanks for photos we will cherish for a lifetime….

Paige’s Dad,
Michael

{ SNEAK PEEK PART 1 – RACHEL CLASS OF 2011 } SEQUIM WA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

I just adore this girl, and everything about this session!  I love that she really put thought into incorporating things that were really special to her!  From her traveling trunk, her Paris map and tower from her summer trip, to her grandmothers hat.   This is the first half of Rachels session, to be continued very soon!:)  Entire shoot done with my new 50mm 1.2 (for the photogs wondering), and apertures ranging from 1.2-2.0.  I just love shooting wide open and we had the prettiest light to work with last night to make it possible.

Here is your sneak peek girly! Hope you love them, and can’t wait to shoot your next session!

{ taylor – class of 2011 } Sequim WA Senior Photographer

A little sneak peek for the stunning Miss Taylor!  She has the most beautiful smile and dimples that anybody would envy.  Not to mention the sweetest personality to go with them!

FAV!  I think she is just stunning here!

I found this antique desk last month and had a little vision of this set up.  Anything vintage, especially books, I just adore.  Taylor mentioned she loves to read, so I thought it was the perfect compliment!

I think the theme for seniors girls for 2011 is going to be the water shot!  They are all crazy and brave the freezing water here.:)  It makes for beautiful images though!

monica - August 21, 2010 - 10:21 am

Beautiful!! I see you have already worked the desk into your shots!! Love it!! Oh and she is beautiful!!

Mary Lou Slaughter - August 19, 2010 - 10:40 pm

{ Sweet Baby Kylee } Port Angeles WA Newborn Photographer

A little sneak peek for the precious baby girl that I had the honor of meeting and photographing this morning!  She is just too cute, and definitely already has a mind of her own.   Welcome to the world Kylee, and congratulations Julie and Chris!

Fav! I love this one with daddy’s surf board!

This is definitely her favorite spot….no matter where I put her she seemed to end up this way after a few minutes…all curled up with her arms under her head!

Julie Groark - August 18, 2010 - 2:07 pm

{ Sneak Peek for Tara and Roberto} Sequim WA Maternity Photographer

I had a  fun little mini session with Tara and Roberto tonight out at the beach!:)I just can’t believe she is 34 weeks…she is so tiny and cute!  Isn’t she stunning?  I admit a tad bit of jealousy knowing I won’t be looking this good in about 26 weeks from now.  I loved her outfit choice too…the perfect pop of color!  Congrats on your soon to be little one!

{ Lindsay + Keith } August 14, 2010

What a perfect wedding day!  Sunshine, blue sky and getting married on the bluffs at the George Washington Inn.  Congratulations Lindsay and Keith! I had a great time capturing your wedding day.  I love how they just light up  when they are with each other! They opted to not see each other before the ceremony, and I just loved the look on Keith’s face when he saw her coming down the isle.  They both just glow!  I was in love with the little creek location that they suggested.  It was kind of a last minute change, but it really worked out perfectly. I was so inspired by it!

Thank you also to Monica, my fabulous second shooter for the day!:)

Oh and I am still jealous over the Peru honeymoon by the way.  I want to see pictures when you get back!;)

Sandra Clark - August 16, 2010 - 8:04 pm

I knew it would be a beautiful thing and indeed it was.

Erika Ford - August 16, 2010 - 8:03 am

They are going to be so pleased! Tara, you are still amazing!

Janet Masterson - August 16, 2010 - 6:50 am

Gorgeous as usual! I am so jealous of all the great locations out in WA, but more jealous of your amazing talent to capture it all so beautifully. Thanks as always for sharing!

monica - August 15, 2010 - 11:03 pm

Beautiful Tara!!! Keith and Lindsey are a gorgeous couple!!! :)

Marie - August 15, 2010 - 10:32 pm

I *LOVE* the one of them under the stairs!!!!!

{ Gianna – Class of 2011 } Sequim WA Senior Photographer

Had a blast with Gianna last night at the waterfall and lake!  She is just so much fun!  I just love her energy…so independent and confident.   I loved that on our way there she asked me NOT to retouch her skin, because she is proud of her freckles!:)Although her skin certainly needs no retouching at all!  It is just refreshing to hear, in a world where  I am asked almost on a daily basis to retouch things:). We started at the waterfall, with some fun lighting. I can’t get enough of  the rich blues and greens that I always get in our landscapes here.  It made for the perfect compliment to her dress.   I adore sunset out on the lake….the little haze that settles in with the warm sunset tones coming through…..perfection!  Here is your sneak peek Gianna!

Stephanie Bachle - August 17, 2010 - 4:34 pm

I love this shoot….your choice of location and your posing are brilliant! I want to plan a trip to Washington really bad, for several reasons and am so envious of your surroundings.

Patsy McKenzie - August 11, 2010 - 4:56 pm

Girl, you LIVE in a beautiful place. What I wouldn’t do to just be under that waterfall! I LOVE IT. I would visit that lake everyday just to swim….. Goodness Breath taking

Marie - August 11, 2010 - 12:28 pm

I absolutely LOVE the ones of her in the water! :)

Rebecca - August 11, 2010 - 11:59 am

These are so awesome Tara! Every senior you post makes me wish I’d had senior portraits done…

{ JARED – CLASS OF 2011 } SEQUIM WA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Jared is my first 2011 senior guy! I was excited for this shoot because he chose the coolest location.  He and his dad met me bright and early at the junkyard for our shoot.  I think I could have honestly shot there all day and not run out of things to shoot or locations. I just love all of the texture and colors and rust!  Jared is a drummer, so we of course had to do some drum shots!  I love that he brought the whole set up along and set it up with the junk yard as his back drop.  A perfect example of making your senior pics unique to you!  Jared (and Lonnie, since I know you wanted to be there and are excited to see the results) here is you sneak peek!

For photographers, I shot all of these with a range of lenses…some 24mm 1.4 L, some 70-200 2.8 L, some 50mm 1.4
I used OCF for almost all just because it was quite overcast and I wanted them to have just that little pop and good lighting contrast!

The Shore - August 11, 2010 - 7:36 am
